Just Because There’s Not Evidence

Just Because There’s Not Evidence currently of something being true doesn’t mean it’s not necessarily true. So, unfortunately, in the western world, we have this viewpoint where it says if I don’t have evidence that it’s not true, then it must not be true, but that in itself is not true.

And over the years, we’ve seen that, for example, we used to think smoking didn’t harm your health, and then evidence later showed that it did harm your health. But the truth was, smoking always did harm your health.

Just Because There’s Not Evidence

We just didn’t have the evidence at the time, same with the earth going around the sun. We used to think the sun went around the earth, but it never went around the earth, the earth always went around the sun, but we had we didn’t have the evidence at the time.

So, um instead of believing in things, it’s only if there’s evidentiary basis, know that it’s evolving like we can only have evidence for things that we can measure and that we’re willing to look at if we don’t look at the thing or we don’t have a tool to measure it, we’ll never get the evidence for it. So there’s still unseen things that exist that we may not have yet proven.
